Phuket Road Rash
Training February 21st, 2007
There are two kinds of bikers, those who are going to fall off and those who have fallen off. I definatly fall into the second catagory. I took another little tumble at the end of my first weeks training in phuket, I was doing a time trial around a loop which had some speed humps on it. someone had put a hosepipe across the road so I signalled the hosepipe to the rider behind me and totally missed the speed hump. I went down like a sack of spuds.
Luckily I don’t seem to have done much damage, I went to the hostpital and paid the equivilant of seventy pounds to get my back scrubbed with a tooth brush and Iodine but its done the trick, nothing got infected and the rash is clearing up really quickly.
