Driven to Tri are also running two ‘swim specific training days’ on Sunday 21st of October 2007 and Saturday 5th of January 2008 at the University of Bath Performance Centre. These sessions, coached by Driven to Tri staff, will offer athletes the chance to develop their swim technique in preparation for winter’s training and the 2008 season.

If you are learning to swim you get lessons, the same with golf or tennis, but people think they can just go running. This training day aims to teach you the skill aspect of running and help you to understand what it is that actually makes you run fast.

Finally we have a technique focused run training day for triathletes held at the University of Bath on the 24th November.  It’s a chance to work on running technique, strength and flexibility exercises, injury prevention methods and pace judgment. The day will include track work, video analysis of each participant’s running style and a classroom session helping athletes to identify and remedy technical flaws.
